For Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, we have a goal to come together once again to raise $5,000 to get our reusable pad kits to more girls in Zimbabwe.
A girl in Zimbabwe may miss up to 5 days of school every month because she doesn't have what she needs to manage her period.
Girls often resort to using newspaper, corn husks, cotton, or rags to manage their menstruation. A lack of period products, inadequate or no toilet facilities, and limited health education are all barriers keeping girls at home.
What we do
The Restoration Hem Project empowers girls and women by providing reusable sanitary pad kits, menstrual health education, clean water, and girl-friendly toilets that promote safe menstrual hygiene management. Through partnerships with schools, churches, government entities, community leaders, and local communities, we bring life-changing resources to girls and women in need.
Each handmade reusable pad kit is created with care and designed to last up to 3 years, helping girls stay healthy, confident, and in school. With just $25, you can provide one girl with a reusable pad kit and make a lasting impact in her life.
Meeting her physical needs by providing access to sustainable feminine hygiene solutions.
No more isolation, shame, or embarrassment. Her opportunities are limitless.
Empowering her through education and identity.
